Global Inventory Specialist

Deine Aufgaben

We are seeking a dedicated Global Inventory Specialist to lead and support supply chain operations, perform inventory analysis, and manage inventory reduction strategies while ensuring regulatory compliance and process optimization. 

What You’ll Do 

  • Global Inventory Management: Control and analyze global inventory levels, ensuring compliance with SKIDATA guidelines and industry best practices. Optimize warehouse management processes across regions to improve efficiency and reduce costs. 
  • Process Optimization: Lead and support process optimization and alignment efforts for inventory and supply chain operations, driving improvements and reducing inefficiencies. 
  • Inventory Analysis & Reporting: Regularly conduct warehouse and material analysis, preparing reports and controlling KPIs to monitor performance. Identify areas for improvement in inventory management and develop strategies for inventory reduction. 
  • Supply Chain Projects: Lead and support global supply chain initiatives, including the validation and implementation of new tools and technologies to improve inventory management processes. 
  • Inventory Valuation & Year-End Closing Support: Assist in year-end closing processes and inventory valuation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with global standards. 
  • Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with various departments and regions to ensure seamless communication and alignment regarding inventory needs, challenges, and improvements. 

Dein Profil

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Business Administration, Economics with a focus on Logistics, Controlling, or Inventory Management). 
  • Mandatory experience with Excel, experience with ERP systems is a plus. 
  • Strong ability to build and manage information systems, reporting, and KPIs, including performing best/worst-case analysis. 
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to evaluate and improve inventory management systems. 
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and controlling principles, particularly as they relate to inventory valuation and reporting. 
  • Strong communication skills at all levels, with the ability to effectively collaborate across departments and regions. 
  • A self-driven working attitude with the ability to assert yourself and lead projects independently. 
  • Experience with conflict management, patience, and a team-oriented mindset. 

  • Fluently in both German and English (written & spoken).

We offer a salary in line with the market, which is based on your qualifications and professional experience. The collective agreement minimum salary for this position is 

 2,471.00 Euro gross per month on a full-time basis. Your actual salary will be overpaid in line with the market and is significantly higher than the minimum salary under the collective agreement.
